The thermal transfer print technology is based on heating up certain dots in the print head. This transfers the ink very precisely from the ribbon onto the surface of the printed material. The range of ribbons has been designed to give maximum print clarity and performance. Material can be handled immediately after printing, enabling the printed tubing to be immediately applied without a secondary mark stabilising operation.
