Tool Warranty Information

Every tool is thoroughly inspected before leaving the factory and can be guaranteed to be free of defects, in both workmanship and materials from date of purchase. The CBHT400-C, CBHT300-C, and CBHP1 tools are guaranteed for one year, however, you can extend the warranty to two years, when you register your tool online at cablecraft.co.uk/tool-warranty-registration. The CHT400-C, CHT150-C, CHT185-C, CRT150-C, CRT50-C are guaranteed for one year only. Should the product develop any faults during this period, due to defective workmanship or materials, it can be packaged and returned to us. Subject to inspection, the product will be repaired free of charge.

The guarantee does not apply where:

• Repairs have been made or attempted by others.
• Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear.
• The tool has been misused or improperly maintained
• Alterations have been made to the tool.
• This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

In addition to any statutory rights resulting from the purchase, this product is covered by a warranty as detailed below:-

(a) The warranty period is dependant per tool and commences on the date when the product was purchased.

(b) The warranty covers all defects of the product during the warranty period due to defaults in workmanship or material at the purchase date. The warranty is limited to repair and/or replacement and does not include any other obligations including but not limited to incidental or consequential damages. The warranty is not valid if the product has been misused, used contrary to the instruction manual, or being incorrectly connected. This warranty does not apply to:

• Any damage to the product that is the result of improper maintenance.
• Any product that has been altered or modified.
• Any product where original identification (trademark/serial number) markings have been defaced, altered, or removed.
• Any damage caused by non-observance of the instruction manual.
• Any product that has been attempted to be repaired by a non-qualified professional.
• Any product connected to improper power supply (amps, voltage, frequency).
• Any damage caused by external influences (water, chemicals, physical, shocks).
• Inappropriate use or overloading of the tool.
• Use of non-approved accessories or parts.

(c) Repair or replacement under this warranty is free of charge. It does not constitute an extension or a new start of the warranty period. Exchanged parts or tools become our property. Delivery charges will apply and be paid by the sender.

(d) We reserve the right to amend and update these terms and conditions at any time.
