The Izumi REC-S640 cable cutter is designed to cut the ACSR cables used in transmission line construction work and is now equipped with a rapid ram advance mechanism for faster operation.
With just the pull of the trigger, you can cut ACSR cables up to 38mm, guy wires up to 20mm and wire ropes up to 22mm. The rotating head provides exceptional ease of use and manoeuvrability in tight working areas. The lock pin head allows the cutter head to open widely for easy insertion of cutting material. This tool also comes equipped with an overload bypass which will kick out when the tool reaches 68kN of output.
