Wago's 221 Series introduces tool-free, lever-operated connectors that allow for faster and more reliable connections of solid, stranded, and fine-stranded wires. These connectors minimize space consumption in junction boxes, thanks to their compact design that is 40% smaller than the well-established 222 Series. Additionally, the transparent housing, enhanced handling, and two test ports further enhance their usability.
The transparent housing provides a clear view, allowing you to easily verify proper wire connection and correct stripping length. Moreover, the two conveniently placed test ports, located in the wire entry direction and opposite to it, ensure easy accessibility for testing, even after installation.
Not only are Wago's 221 Series splicing connectors compact, but they are also easier to use. The operating levers now require less force to open and close, while the lateral hollowed-out grips offer a secure hold in any situation.
With ratings up to 32 A/450 V and a maximum continuous operating temperature of 105°C, the 221 Series Splicing Connectors can handle ambient temperatures up to 85°C (T85), making them suitable for both small and large loads. Additionally, they hold approvals like ENEC or UL, ensuring their usability in applications worldwide.
