Heatshrink End Caps

Heatshrink end caps are manufactured from a polyolefin material and coated with a hot-melt adhesive to provide a watertight seal against the damage of moisture, dirt or corrosion. The rugged wall of these end caps also offers excellent resistance against abrasion.

Longitudinal change: +5% - 10%
Dielectric strength: 20 kV/mm
Thermal:  
Heat ageing - 168 hours at 150ºC
4 hours at 200ºC
Low temperature flexibility - 4 hours at -30ºC
Performance: They will provide a seal a up to 0.05 Mpa internal pressure whilst operating between -30ºC to +70ºC
