This bench-mounted electric pneumatic crimping machine, features a robust design construction ensuring reliable, quiet and relatively maintenance-free operation.

It can provide up to 2000 operations per hour, and can crimp a range of terminals including ring and pin, supplied on reels of either 1000 or 1500.

It also features a straightforward method of installation, with the correct applicator and terminal reel. Activation of the machine can be performed by hand button, hooded foot pedal or sensor.

A lightweight crimp machine die applicator is also available, which can be easily fitted by means of simple magnetic anchoring lock.

After months of testing, Balfour Beatty plc have specially selected Cablecrafts' custom laser-etch stainless steel markers, for the current refurbishment of the great Humber Bridge.

Situated on the East Riding of Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, the Humber Bridge spans the Humber (by rivers Trent and Ouse) between Barton-Upon-Humber on the south bank and Hessle on the north bank. This single-span suspension bridge is 2,220m (7,283 ft) in length, the fifth largest of its type in the world and carries on average of 120,000 vehicles per week.

Balfour Beatty plc chose our laser-etch 316 grade stainless steel markers as they are ideal for marking in hostile environments. Here at Cablecraft, we use state-of-the-art digital technology and no inks. The marking process produces a permanent, deep surface mark with a darkened character in high contrast to the background.

Identification and signage specialist Brady, is launching the latest technology in portable label printing. The BMP71 is the high-end model in Brady's range of portable printers, characterised by high-performance, professional systems.

The BMP71 is the ideal print solution for cable and wiring labels in the telecom/datacom and electricity industry, also capable of printing safety labels and pictograms ideal for the process industry. The robust design and industrial strength is perfectly suited for use in any harsh environment. The printer's intuitive user-friendly style is supported by a large, full colour graphic LCD display, a menu-driven user interface and a complete QWERTY keyboard which allows labels with text combinations, symbols (over 500) and codes to be created quickly.

The BMP71 is a thermal transfer printer which creates labels with a resolution of 300 dpi, a print speed of 38 mm/sec making it the fastest and most accurate portable printer on the market.
